VICE-CHANCELLOR'S INDEPENDENCE MESSAGE

65th Independence Anniversary Message from the Vice Chancellor

On this auspicious occasion of our Nation’s 65th Independence Day, I warmly extend heartfelt greetings to you and your families. Today, as we reflect on the journey of our beloved country, we are reminded of the sacrifice, resilience, and vision that laid the foundation for the freedom we now enjoy.

Independence is not only a celebration of our self-rule but also a call to greater responsibilities. As members of this distinguished Federal University of Education, we have a shared duty to contribute to national development through excellence in teaching, research innovation and service. Your dedication, hard work and commitment continue to shape not only the lives of our students but also the future of our dear Nation.

As we mark this 65th Independence, may we be inspired to rekindle the values of unity, integrity and progress in our daily endeavours. Let us continue to stand together in building a strong and more prosperous Nigeria.

On behalf of the University Governing Council and Management, I wish you a joyous Independence Day filled with peace, pride and renewed hope.
